Tower School seeks a full-time Instructor in Music for a position opening in August, 2010. Qualified candidates will have an interest in teaching music in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8 with a particular concentration teaching Kodaly and Conversational Solfege to the early grades. Candidates should have experience teaching music and should have proficiency in one or more musical instrument. As well, candidates should demonstrate an interest in participating fully in the life and activities of an energetic elementary day school. A willingness to coach athletic teams and/or lead other extracurricular activities is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to multi-task, be flexible, organized, and have good interpersonal skills. A bachelor’s degree is required.
